By registering for any Cheektowaga Youth Baseball, Inc. program, you are
agreeing to the following refund policies.
No Refund will be
issued once the originally scheduled registration period has passed,
even if the registration period has been extended and is open at the
time of the request. Our programs have limited space and cancelations
after the originally scheduled registration period has passed hinder our
ability to properly plan and organize our programs.
No Refund
will be issued due to a participant’s move out of the area, a change in
work schedule, or other similar circumstances not related to the league.
A participant’s decision not to participate in a program is not grounds
for a refund.
No Refund will be issued due to injury.
Participation in sports, even at the recreational level, may result in
injury.
No Refund will be issued due to a government-mandated
closure or natural circumstances beyond our control. Participants will
be issued a pro-rated credit for only the canceled portion of the
program if less than seventy-five percent of the program, on average,
had been completed at the time of closure and we are unable to resume
the program in a reasonable amount of time.
If a program is
canceled due to lack of participant registrations or field/facility
issues that are not related to weather or similar natural causes beyond
our control, participants may be given the option to receive a league
credit or a refund unless a similar program is available. If you fail to
respond to the league cancelation notice by the indicated deadline, you
will receive league credit. This policy does not apply to programs
canceled due to government-mandated closures or natural circumstances
beyond our control.
We reserve the right to postpone the
start of, or to suspend any program currently in progress. Postponed or
suspended programs are not grounds for a refund.
We do our
best to play all scheduled games. On occasion, games, or other events,
are postponed due to weather, field conditions, or another reason. We
will make every effort to play every scheduled game during the planned
season however this may not always be possible. We reserve the right to
move games to another field or to reschedule games for another date at
our sole discretion. In the rare case, that we are unable to reschedule
more than twenty-five percent of originally scheduled games for reasons
other than natural circumstances beyond our control, participants will
be issued a prorated credit for only the incomplete portion of the
program.
Games will be made up in the best possible manner,
which may include, but not be limited to, multiple games on the same day
or games held on a non-standard day of the week. Refunds will not be
issued if a player is unable to attend the scheduled make-up game(s).
